The Golden Tree jury is an independent network of industry chiefs, founders, senior consultants, and academic specialists. They score every nominee against a published rubric — without influence from sales, sponsorship, or commercial relationships.
The Golden Tree jury operates on three principles: independence from the commercial team, evaluation against published criteria, and full documentation of every decision .
Jurors are recruited from industry chiefs, founders of award-winning organisations, senior partners at consultancies, professors of relevant disciplines, and editors of leading trade publications. Each juror serves a fixed term, declares conflicts of interest publicly, and is rotated to ensure no single voice dominates outcomes.
Evaluation happens in two stages: an initial individual scoring round (each juror reviews their assigned nominees against the six-pillar rubric) followed by a calibration round (jurors compare scores, discuss outliers, and finalise ranking). Final rankings are audited by an independent quality officer before winners are sealed.

Every nominee is scored against the six-pillar rubric — published and available to all entrants.
Jurors recuse themselves from any category where they have a competing or commercial interest.
Individual scoring followed by jury calibration — no single juror controls an outcome.

Every Golden Tree nominee — regardless of programme or category — is scored across these six pillars. Weights vary slightly by programme; the framework remains constant.
Commercial outcomes — revenue growth, market share, profitability, and operational KPIs benchmarked against peers.
Originality of approach — new products, services, business models, or operational practices that move the sector forward.
Demonstrable improvement in customer outcomes, NPS, retention, and verifiable testimonials.
Employee experience, diversity outcomes, leadership development, and retention practices.
Verifiable ESG progress — environmental footprint, community contribution, governance practices.
Strategic clarity, brand strength, and a credible roadmap for the next phase of growth.
The Golden Tree jury network is intentionally diverse — by industry, geography, gender, and seniority profile — to ensure that every Golden Tree winner reflects a balanced, multi-perspective evaluation.
Jurors are not paid for their evaluations beyond reimbursement of incidental expenses. Membership is by application and invitation, with a fixed term of two years renewable once. The bar for admission is high: jurors typically have ten or more years of senior-level industry experience and a public track record of expertise.
To apply for membership, see the application page. Successful applicants are notified within six weeks and complete an onboarding workshop before their first evaluation cycle.
