The workplace awards are the Golden Tree Awards categories that recognise how organisations look after their people. They cover three groups: chief executives and general managers recognised as employee-friendly leaders, HR directors and HR managers who lead the people function, and companies that build workplace technology or deliver employee learning and development. The awards are organised by Golden Tree Events LLC, an award management company in Business Bay, Dubai, and are open to organisations in the UAE and every other country.
Workplace recognition at Golden Tree is not based on an employee survey or a public vote. Each nomination is reviewed on the evidence submitted — people policies, development programmes, retention and wellbeing initiatives, and the results they have produced — and winners are selected by the Jury team or the Management of Golden Tree. Leaders can be nominated by their organisation, their team or a colleague. Companies can nominate themselves or be nominated by a client or partner.

If you are nominating a person for the way they lead and look after a team, choose an employee-friendly leadership category — CEO for chief executives and founders, General Manager for property or business-unit heads. These categories can be entered within your industry, for example hospitality, finance or real estate.
If you are nominating an HR leader for running the people function, choose an HR leadership category. If you are nominating a company that sells HR software, employee platforms or training to other organisations, choose a workplace technology or training category. The workplace awards recognise how organisations and their leaders look after their own people. The HR & recruitment awards recognise companies whose business is hiring and HR services, such as recruitment agencies and executive search firms.
Yes. Nomination is free — there is no nomination fee and no registration fee. The Free plan covers one award programme in one category at City level, with a mandatory Winner Package order if you are selected as a winner. Optional paid plans are listed on the nomination plans page.
Every nomination is checked for eligibility, completeness and authenticity. The Jury team or the Management of Golden Tree then reviews the evidence against the entry criteria and selects the winners.
