How the Winner Directory Is Compiled

Where the records come from

Every entry in the Global Winner Directory is exported directly from the Golden Tree Awards award-management system (the CRM in which nominations are received, evaluated and closed). The directory is regenerated from that system as static pages; nothing is typed in by hand or added from third-party sources.

What counts as a winner

A record is listed as a winner only when a winning category has been recorded on the official nomination record by the awards team. Winner status is not derived from payment status, from having been nominated, from shortlisting, or from any marketing flag. Nominees who were not awarded a category do not appear in this directory. At the time of this build the system held 22,128 nominee records, of which 7,910 carry a winning category.

What is published

For each winner: the honouree name, the award programme, the winning category, the award year, the industry (where classified), the country, and the official website where one was supplied. For organisation awards the organisation is listed; for individual awards (CEO, General Manager, Entrepreneur and Women awards) the recognised individual is listed with their role and organisation. No e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, nomination plans, fees or payment details are ever published.

Coverage and known gaps

• Award years covered: 2018–2026.
• 19 winner records have no recorded country and are counted in totals but omitted from country pages.
• 506 winner records (mostly historical bulk imports that pre-date the current industry taxonomy) have no industry classification and are counted in totals but omitted from industry pages.
• City-level data is not yet recorded for winners, so the directory is organised by region, country and industry only.
• Region pages group countries by the Golden Tree regional classification: each country is assigned to exactly one region in the awards system and every winner inherits the region of its recorded country (nothing is inferred from names or cities). The United Kingdom is classified separately from Europe, and Asia and Oceania are published together. Winners from the Americas (1,019 across 36 countries) are currently listed under their countries only and are counted in the global total.
• Only country, industry and region pages with at least 5 winners (and, for regions, at least 2 countries) are submitted for search indexing; smaller pages remain browsable but are marked no-index.

Updates

Records may change after publication — for example when a winner supplies a corrected organisation name or website, or when historical records are re-classified by industry. Each region, country and industry page shows the date its most recent record was updated. Every count, breakdown and list is computed once per build from a single export of the records — the published pages are that snapshot and never query the live system. This directory build was generated on 19 September 2026.

If you are a listed winner and any detail about your entry is inaccurate, e-mail awards@goldentreeawards.com with the subject line "Winner Directory correction", quoting the name, award and year as shown, or use the contact page. Corrections are applied in the awards system and appear in the directory at its next rebuild.
